I have not posted in a while but I hope to catch up as we are moving quickly into more work and more cold (sorry Austin).
First, we have a sweet van! We are leasing a white VW van that holds nine people and is, how shall we put it, utilitarian to say the least. But we all fit and are very thankful!

A note on eating out. Everyone here enjoys pizza. I found out that after the 1989 revolution, Italian businesses were the first to come to Romania bringing Italian restaurants to the people. They obviously appreciated and now support Italian fare. A perk is that a medium pizza with meat (and much less tomato sauce than we are used to) is around $2-3. Very affordable for all of us and it is GOOD! And for some reason, ketchup is the preferred condiment for pizza. I guess you can get your tomato fix afterall. Whenever we go out, we almost always spend about $25 on the entire lunch/dinner, so we are thankful for the savings versus the U.S.

We also enjoyed the farmer's market that happens every weekend. We have not bought anything yet but plan to soon. We also visited the local fort and other historical places. All in all, we are enjoying our time and we send our love to everyone. Peace and be well!
