We are settling into our "adjustment" phase as we try and return to
as normal a routine as we had in Austin, but of course with a Romanian
flair. We are pleased with our home and have made many trips to a couple
of local stores to stock up on items large and small while
trying to
rebuild our household item needs and preferences. Here are some pictures
of our home and neighborhood.

| Home, sweet home! |
 |
| The most important room = kitchen |
 |
| Boys, boys, boys... |
 |
| View from one of the bedrooms |
 |
| Small cars + smaller streets = sidewalk parking! |
 |
| Three bedrooms is all you need :) |
 |
| No dryer, we let the air do the work! |
 |
| Relaxing is easy when it is 65-70 degrees! |
 |
| So as you can see, we are back to normal, survival of the fittest... |
To end this short post, we'll relate the huge hurdles we've faced in adjusting:
#1: Almost three year-olds INSIST on washing their hands using the bidet. We're not sure how to react given the guilt we feel when Joshua exclaims passionately "I have to wash my hands, mama and daddy!"
#2: The grocery carts we've encountered have 4-wheel steering. Yes, that's right, all four wheels are free to turn at their hearts content. We're both not sure if this is a blessing or a curse, but there is definitely a learning curve in navigating through the cookie aisle while trying *not* to run over nice Romanians. Maybe we're missing something by not slowing down and enjoying the ride while at HEB?
Peace and be well...
Ahhh yes the Bidet. Our little girls reveled in them when we lived in Israel.
